Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch, which will be available in both Wi-Fi and LTE versions, has appeared in the FCC’s database.
The Wi-Fi version is SM-R880, while the LTE version is listed as SM-885U. Both watches support dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, GNSS positioning and Bluetooth connectivity. In addition, the watch also supports 5W of wireless charging.
The two versions of Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch are 42mm and 46mm respectively. The watch will run Google’s Wear OS operating system, and the FCC database also shows that the watch supports local music playback.
Igeekphone understands that Samsung plans to launch the watch ahead of the unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 fold-screen phones, which could be tentatively scheduled for August 11.
