Smartisan, a known smartphone brand in China has recently launched the Smartisan Nut 3 smartphone. It is speculated that the upcoming Smartisan R1 could be a flagship phone that will be driven by Snapdragon 845 that powers the likes of Samsung Galaxy S9, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S and LG G7 ThinQ. The exact appearance of the Smartisan R1 is not known, but the renders of the concept that have appeared today shows what sort of design it will be arriving with.
Smartisan phones are best known for their wonderful design. Hence, the Smartisan R1 is expected to impress its fans through its appeal too apart from flagship specs. The concept design of the Smartisan R1 shows that its display is surrounded by super-slim bezels. The lower bezel appears slight thick. The selfie camera is not visible on the top bezel. It suggested that the R1 features a flip-up front-facing camera.
The backside of the R1 features a dual camera setup on the back panel. The dual sensors are arranged in a horizontal design slightly above the center on the rear. The right side of the phone features volume buttons and another physical button. The left edge has the power button..
The Smartisan R1 is expected to debut on May 15. Smartisan CEO Luo Yonghao has confirmed recently that the R1 could be priced between 2,999 Yuan (~$475) and 15,000 Yuan ($2370). The high pricing suggests that there could be a luxury edition of R1.
