Igeekphone February 20 news, news source @GXmmm918 published a blog post yesterday, revealing that SONY Xperia 1 VII smartphone camera sensor size may remain unchanged, but all sensors will be upgraded to the latest Exmor T for mobile. This heralds a major improvement in the image system of the Xperia 1 VII phone.
Note: The Xperia 1 VI currently on sale only uses the 1/1.35-inch Exmor T sensor for the main camera (wide Angle), and the Exmor RS sensor is still used for the ultra-wide Angle and telephoto cameras.
The Xperia 1 VII makes it possible for all rear cameras to use a double-layer transistor pixel-stacked CMOS image sensor (Exmor T for mobile).
The Exmor T for mobile sensor technology will significantly improve the performance of ultra-wide Angle and telephoto lenses in low-light environments, reduce noise, and increase dynamic range, thereby significantly improving overall camera performance.
For now, information on hardware other than the camera is more limited, and there are rumored to be few overall changes. As is customary, the Xperia 1 VII is expected to be officially announced in early May and available around June.
