Igeekphone News, June 19th: Japanese media Sumaho Digest published a blog post yesterday (June 18th), reporting that SONY might launch the Xperia 10 VII mobile phone in October 2025.
Igeekphone quoted the blog post as reporting that according to SONY Mobile’s 2025 Xperia product line plan, the Xperia 10 VII was supposed to be released simultaneously with the flagship model Xperia 1 VII. However, as of now, it has not been officially unveiled, and the latest news may have been postponed until October this year.
It is worth noting that this model has passed the audits of certification institutions in multiple countries. The publicly available OEM ids include PM-1510-BV, PM-1511-BV, PM-1512-BV, PM-1513-BV, PM-1514-BV and PM-1515-BV, suggesting that its design may support multiple regional versions.
Recently, the Australian website “Is This Phone Blocked?” The detailed information of Xperia 10 VII has been disclosed. Among them, the OEM ID “PM-1510-BV” is clearly marked as the model of Xperia 10 VII, while “PM-1513-BV” corresponds to the unlocked version model “XQ-FE44” in Japan.
In contrast, the model number of the 2025 flagship model Xperia 1 VII is “XQ-FSxx”, and the OEM ID begins with PM-150x-BV, which is clearly distinguished from the PM-151x-BV sequence of the Xperia 10 VII.
The OEM ids (PM-1510-BV, PM-1511-BV, PM-1512-BV) that have not yet been assigned models may correspond to the customized versions of the three major operators in Japan. It is speculated that they are the exclusive models of SoftBank (A502SO), au (SOG15), and NTT DOCOMO (SO-52F) respectively.
