Sony will become almost the only A-brand that will introduce the flagship smartphone at Mobile World Congress 2019 next month. New manufacturer from the Land of the Rising Sun will be called the Xperia XZ4. This is the flagship that was able to collect approximately 395,000 “parrots” in AnTuTu.
Today, the network has all the key characteristics of the future news. The source of information was the Chinese or Taiwanese site Sony, which prematurely published a page with specifications, reports Gizmochina. Now the page is not active.
The flagship will get a 6.5-inch Quad HD + display (1440 x 3360 pixels) with a 21: 9 aspect ratio and support for a wide dynamic range. Not without its proprietary X-Reality and Triluminos Display. The matrix will be made according to AMOLED technology, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 should protect it (it’s strange why not the last generation of glass was chosen).
Sony Xperia XZ4 will receive 6GB of RAM and a 128GB flash drive. Expand integrated storage will be possible through memory cards up to 512GB. Sony is not a company that produces many configurations. Moreover, this year the Japanese manufacturer even abandoned the Compact version.
For the performance of the smartphone will be responsible 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with the Adreno 640 graphics core. As already noted, the engineering sample scored 395,000 points in AnTuTu. In the Geekbench benchmark, the model also shows record numbers among smartphones based on the Android operating system. By the way, Sony Xperia XZ4 will receive Android OS 9 Pie.
Dimensions of Sony Xperia XZ4 will be 167 x 72 x 8.2 mm, and weight – 191 grams. The flagship will receive protection from dust and moisture according to the standard IP68. For autonomy will be responsible battery 4400mAh. The smartphone will get support for the development of Qnovo Adaptive Charging to extend the life of the battery. The cost of the model is still a secret.
