ThiEYE has joined the band launching another Action Camera ThiEYE V5e which is capable of shooting seemingly odd resolution video at 2.3K resolution and has a detachable lens which can be replaced byfilters such as a UV Filter (included in the package), CPL Filter, Graduated Colour Filter, and an ND Filter.
You may notice the rather unusually big lens on the front as it is removable. It is made aluminium offering a sturdy built quality and great looks even though little does it matter. The device also sports a screw hole at the bottom which lets you connect the camera to a tripod or selfie stick of some sort. ThiEYE V5e is equipped with a powerful Ambarella A7LS75 chipset and a large 16MP Sony Exmor R CMOS image sensor. It is capable of shooting 2.3K 30fps, 1080p 30/60fps, 720p 30/60/120fps slo-mo videos with 4x on tap zoom.
In ThiEYE V5e you get various other options such as loop cycle recording, time-lapse, motion detection (video-recording ) it can also capture still images upto 16MP with single shot, self-timer and burst-mode available too. The ThiEYE V5e sports a 2-inch screen, a micro-USB port, an HDMI port and a microSD card slot. The action camera is WiFi-enabled, you can control the device and live-stream video from your Android or iOS smartphone. It has a detachable battery of 1180mAh capacity.
