Will Xiaomi MI MIX 4 Debut to Use Snapdragon 888 Pro First?

Time has been nearly half, Huawei flagship should be released in April or so , but it delayed for a variety of reasons, generally speaking, the first half of 2021 flagship, also basically come to an end.

Apple’s A-series chips and Huawei’s Kirin chips can only be used in their own products, while the rest of the flagship phones are basically powered by the Snapdragon 888.

The power of the Snapdragon 888 is not in doubt. Apart from the heat and power consumption, it’s pretty good. Will there be an upgrade that will be better than this in the future?

There is the Snapdragon 888 Pro, which is already being tested by domestic manufacturers, and will be available in the third quarter, according to digital blogger @digital chat on Weibo. And unlike last year’s Snapdragon 865 Plus, the chip isn’t an overseas exclusive.

The biggest change of this Snapdragon 888 Pro is that the main frequency of X1 super-large core continues to increase to 3.0GHz, while other core frequencies remain unchanged. However, the frequency of GPU is not clear yet.

According to the Snapdragon 888 Pro score chart, there is not much difference between the Snapdragon 888 Pro and the Snapdragon 888, with a slight improvement in score. But given the capabilities of the Snapdragon 888, the Snapdragon 888 Pro is definitely more powerful.

Currently, all major Chinese companies except Huawei have the Snapdragon 888 on their flagship. The performance is fine, but the power consumption and heat control are disappointing. Even if some phones are arranged with all kinds of confusing new cooling materials, the heat is still touching.

At present, the most appropriate method is to stick an ice-sealed heat dissipation back clip on the phone, which is the most effective way. However, for most people, there are few nest in the home at ordinary times, go out with a cooling back clip is really not very convenient.

So this time, Snapdragon 888 Pro has stronger performance, but it also makes people worry about whether this processor can control the heat in the hotter and hotter summer.

In addition, it is reported that the Snapdragon 888 Pro is likely to be released on Xiaomi mi Mix 4 this time. After all, as an old friend of Qualcomm, I am sure to fight for it if I can. Besides, we have been expecting Mi Mix 4 for a long time. In terms of performance, Mi Mix 4 certainly has something to offer you.

Of course, the under-screen camera is also likely to be a big selling point. In fact, Xiaomi has been following this technology, and its own under-screen camera technology is not known to upgrade to the current generation, but the effect will not be too bad. If you’re looking for a truly all-screen flagship, the Mi Mix 4 shouldn’t disappoint.
