The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro is on its way with arrival date July 30th. However, the phone has already been pre-booked on Chinese platforms Xiaomi Mall, Jingdong and Black Shark’s official website.
On JD, Black Shark 2 Pro has pictures and the reservation price is 8888 Yuan (about $1293). Unfortunately, in addition to confirming the DC feature dimming 2.0, the list of JD does not disclose any information regarding this device’s configuration.
However, the official Black Shark Weibo page revealed that Black Shark 2 Pro will come with many accessories and peripherals. Earlier, Xiaomi officially confirmed that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 855+ processor.
In addition to the new and more powerful chipset, the remaining configuration parameters of the Black Shark 2 Pro will likely resemble its predecessor. Previously, this smartphone has visited the Geekbench performance measurement page with Snapdragon 855+ chipset, 12GB RAM capacity and running Android 9 Pie. In Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, the Black Shark 2 Pro scored 3632 and 11304 points, respectively.
And yet, the previously leaked teaser image shows that the Black Shark 2’s successor model will have a redesigned back cover. Specifically, while the Black Shark 2 has a vertical dual camera setting located in the top left corner.
The image of Black Shark 2 Pro shows it is equipped with a horizontal camera system. In addition, this phone seems to be equipped with more RGB light than its predecessor models. Hopefully, we will see more information about this phone in the next few days.
