Tomorrow is the day of presentation of one of the most anticipated accessories of Xiaomi, but the most. We are referring to the Mi Band 4, the bracelet of which we already know a lot, but of which there are still things to discover.
We did not know if the company was going to launch this product independently or if it was going to offer us any surprises. But of course, we did not expect that next to the Mi Band 4 announced no less than 7 other products, making 8 in total.
Of the remaining 7, discounting the bracelet, 6 of them will be related to the kitchen. Let’s not forget that Xiaomi has investments in companies that manufacture many home accessories, such as Mijia. The last one will be linked to the Line messaging application, very popular in Asia and which had its moment of glory here, before being eclipsed by WhatsApp.
Huami, the company in which Xiaomi has invested and develops products such as the Amazfit, has hinted that the Xiaomi MI Band 4 could use a new chip created for this type of product.
The official account of Mi Band in Weibo has shared the publication that talks about this processor, with an artificial intelligence chip and processors to control the sensors that carry these products. Interestingly, this processor does not use ARM architecture, so it could be used in Huawei wearables without any problem.
As expected, tomorrow we will see a variant of the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 with NFC, although apparently, it will not be available outside of China since this model has been thought to be used especially in the public transport of that country.
As you can see in the image above, the new screen of the Mi Band 4 would be able to show NFC codes, which would be perfect to use in conjunction with applications such as Google Pay.
