Nevertheless, while there are no official details, but at the same time, the rumors are pleasing, and NFC for the international market should be a hit. According to recent information from the source “TizenHelp”, the future Xiaomi Mi Band 5 will be equipped with a 1.2-inch display. This is more than the 0.95-inch AMOLED screen of its predecessor. Moreover, despite the increased size of the display, the new device will become lighter, and the screen itself will be in higher contrast for better work in the sun.
In current Mi Band models, the NFC module works only within China. But recent rumors confirm that the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 NFC version will also be available for the European market. According to them, the bracelet will support Google Pay and other services with contactless payment technology, and can also be used as a pass or as a travel card. Otherwise, the new product should fully transfer the functions of the Mi Band 4. The new device will provide up to 20 days of battery life.
