Tech enthusiasts from all over the world will be closely watching the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. Various companies will be present at the upcoming tech trade fair in Barcelona, Spain to announce their new flagship. Xiaomi will be the only China-based smartphone manufacturing company that will be unveiling its flagship phone.
Some reports claim that Xiaomi may use the platform to announce two new flagships, namely the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S and Xiaomi Mi 7. Both the smartphones are rumored to be fueled by Snapdragon 845, but these devices are expected to arrive with some differences.
The Mi MIX 2S is expected to be arriving with a screen-to-body ratio that is higher than Mi MIX 2. Its selfie camera could be placed on the top. On the other hand, the Mi 7 could be a flagship phone that will be arriving with a cheaper priced. It is speculated that after getting unveiled at MWC 2018, the company may release it in the home country in mid-March this year.
The Mi 7 is likely to arrive with a 6.01-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 6 GB of RAM. The Mi MIX2S may feature 8 GB of RAM. The Mi 7 is rumored to come with 12-megapixel dual rear cameras and a battery of about 3,500mAh capacity. It is expected to sport a dual glass and metal combination design and may carry support for wireless charging.
