The upcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 returns to the protagonist of the rumors today thanks to two new images leaked on the web: both refer to the tempered glass for the protection of the display, but the most interesting thing is that they let us take a look at what it should be the final design of the new Xiaomi model.
As we have already seen in recent weeks, Mi MIX 3 will still extend the concept of ” borderless ” minimizing the frames of the screen, without the need for the notch on the top. In particular, from these new images, it seems that the Chinese company has done a great job on the top and bottom edges, eliminating them almost completely.
The Mi Mix 3 marks the revival of the range after its 3 predecessors with an almost identical design. The new flagship succeeds the Mi Mix 2S that we tested . It will include some features like the SoC Snapdragon 845 as well as a dedicated key for an AI wizard.
There may be two versions of Mi Mix 3, one with 6GB of RAM and one with 8GB of RAM.and can be the same dual photosensor. Doubts remain about some aspects of the smartphone’s data sheet. It could embark a fingerprint sensor under the screen for example, but it is not confirmed yet.
Recall that these are unofficial renderings and therefore may not be 100% reliable. To find out how the new Mi MIX will really be done we will have to wait a few more weeks, Xiaomi organized an event on October 15, 2018, for the official presentation of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. The smartphone could be launched at a price of around $490 in China.
