This allows the UWB to use lower transmission power, usually 30 dBm less than Wi-Fi signals, and can be hidden in the “background noise” generated by other communication technologies, with almost no interference. Therefore, the one-finger UWB connection function in the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will not affect the normal operation of radio frequencies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 5G.
Secondly, thanks to the extremely short pulse Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 can quickly determine the distance to AIoT devices, within a radius of 10 m the error is only 20cm, so it can effectively filter the surrounding devices, for example, activating only the IoT of the nearest device.
Not only that, thanks to the 3 receiving antennas on the Mi MIX 4, the AIoT device can be positioned in 3D and report coordinates (longitudinal angle, latitude angle, and distance) for a higher level of accuracy so that you can determine exactly which AIoT device the user is pointing to.
