Xiaomi has just launched a new MIJIA refrigerator model on the crowdfunding platform Youpin, with a large capacity of up to 540 liters. The new Xiaomi Mijia Refrigerator 540L arrives as one of the largest offerings within the company’s refrigerator lineup and will be placed on top of the previously launched 160 liters, 170 liters, and 450 liters MIJIA Smart off-door refrigerator models.
In detail, the new MIJIA 540 liter refrigerator is Xiaomi’s largest-ever refrigerator, much larger than the 160-liter, 170-liter, and 450-liter versions introduced previously. The new Xiaomi Mijia Refrigerator 540L has been presented with dimensions of 905x660x1.770mm and a weight of 88Kg. This makes it have a total capacity of 540 liters.
This fridge is equipped with double drawers, which can hold a variety of foods such as meat, fruits, and vegetables separately, without smelling on other foods. In addition, it also has 8 built-in door compartments, with a height that can be customized according to the user’s wishes. The total volume of the refrigerator is 540 liters, of which the main compartments are 351 liters and the freezer area is 189 liters.
Compared with traditional direct cooling refrigerators, the biggest advantage of air cooling is frost-free. It sinks into the wind through a waterfall, conveys the cold air to every corner, avoids blowing the food directly, and keeps the fruits and vegetables moisturized.
The top of the left side door is equipped with a touch screen, which helps users monitor the temperature inside the refrigerator and easily set parameters. Xiaomi confidently asserts that this MIJIA refrigerator is extremely energy-efficient, cooled fast and stable, but does not cause unpleasant operating noises.
In particular, like other Xiaomi smart home products, the new MIJIA refrigerator also allows users to monitor and control remotely on smartphones via the MIJIA application.
This new Xiaomi Mijia Refrigerator 540L is currently on the shelves in China with a list price of 3699 yuan (about $563) but is reduced to only 2999 yuan (about $457 ) in the first time of sale. While its pre-sale has begun, but the spot-sale will start on December 10th in all channels. The product owns a relatively minimal design and only has a single Gray color option.
In addition to the new Xiaomi Mijia Refrigerator 540L, the Mi Human Sensor has finally received an update. The Chinese company presented a new generation model, while the price remained affordable.
Xiaomi Mi Human Sensor 2, thanks to the Wi-Fi module, is able to work in different parts of the apartment. The device can function both at night and during the day. The sensor has a remote configuration function thanks to the proprietary Mijia application.
There you can designate various required use cases. For example, you can make cameras and lights turn on at a specific time. The device has a good level of energy efficiency. According to the manufacturer, it should be enough for a year of uninterrupted operation. The retail price of Xiaomi Mi Human Sensor 2 is 59 yuan (around $9) and the crowdfunding price of 49 yuan (about $7.50).
