Besides Redmi 6, Xiaomi has released the other entry level smartphone, Xiaomi Redmi 6, selling only at 599 yuan, $100.
Xiaomi Redmi 6A continues the thin body of Redmi 5A with good grip feeling. It has 5.45 inch full view display with 1440×720 resolution, offering grey, pink, blue and golden colors.
The biggest feature is to use Helio A22, which is the first A series in Mediatek chipset, it should be lower version of Helio P22, made by TSMC 12nm, 2.0GHz. But it only has Quad core processor, according to Mediatek, its performance improves 33% compared with MT6739, over 37% than Snapdragon 425, thanks to 12nm process, its CPU power consumption reduces 48% compared with 28nm.
Redmi 6A has 3,000mAh battery, which can support up to 19 days for standby. It has RAM 2GB ROM 16GB internal storage, coming with 13MP back camera, 5MP front camera, supporting bokeh, dual SIM card, dual standby, netcom 5.0.
In OS, its MIUI OS can be optimized, which can reduce 30% space out, meanwhile, it can support AI face ID, AI voice helper, smart translation, etc.
