Today, Xiaomi has again launched new crowdfunding in its third-party product sales platform, Youpin. This time the great product is a projector that can be purchased with a 150 “panel. This new projector, unlike the previous ones, is manufactured by the Shanghai Oriental TV Shopping Co., Ltd. This projector is not from Xiaomi, here the company led by Lei Jun takes a commission for the sale of this projector.
This projector is designed for lovers of cinema and good image quality. The projector is similar to that of Xiaomi, being short throw and projection via laser. Its measurements are 456 x 308 x 91 mm and it has a weight of 7.5kg. Its lens supports 4K HDR video with screen sizes from 80 “to 150”. Inside it houses an ARM chipset accompanied by 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage with eMMC technology.
Xiaomi here has done its bit by integrating its MIUI TV interface with version 4.0. This will allow the user to have a large library of movies, videos, and series by subscription. As indicated, Xiaomi gives the subscription to the user who buys this projector. The subscription that comes in has a value of 498 yuan ($77).
The projector incorporates in its chassis Bluetooth connection, USB connections, 2 powerful speakers that in total offer 30W DTS-HD sound and security systems for heating the projector when it has been running for many hours. The screen with which comes accompanied if the user wants to buy the complete pack is a screen that has a minimum size of 2214 x 1245mm.
As a whole, we can enjoy a high-quality image by having a 4K image quality with 1700 ANSI and 5000 lumens on the screen. It has HDR 10 optimization and ALPD 3.0 color correction. The control of this projector has a button to talk to the projector using the AI that Xiaomi incorporates. On the back, there is an ethernet plug input along with 3 HDMI 2.0 inputs, a USB 2.0 input, audio out plugs and SPDIF input.
This projector and screen come at a price of 15999 yuan (about $2313) in its full pack. If we choose only the projector, the price drops to 10999 (equal to $1576). Unfortunately and taking away the illusion, this product will only be sold in China since the TDT it incorporates is not useful outside the Asian country. We hope that the manufacturing company will launch an international version tomorrow.
