The Motorola is about to announce its next series of smartphone top line. And the date for the announcement is April 22 and now, with just one day left for the online event. The famous leaker Evan Blass has released a video on his twitter that shows details about the Motorola Edge and Edge +. Let’s take a look at this.
Motorola Edge
The video displays details about the Moto Edge, highlighting the smartphone’s 5G connectivity at the beginning of the video. After that, continues talking about the device’s screen, highlighting the 90Hz refresh rate, 6.67 “FullHD + SuperAMOLED screen is expected.
The presence of the 5G indicates Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, which will be used this year basically for every smartphone that fits in the premium intermediary segment. 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage is also expected.
It also indicates the presence of stereo sound, a 64MP main camera, a wide-angle camera, a camera that allows up to 3 times optical zoom, and macro captures. The front selfie camera has a 25 MP sensor. This model brings digital unlocking under the screen. Besides, Motorola in the teaser promises up to two days of use with the 4500mAh battery present in the new smartphone.
Motorola Edge +
Now we have to wait for more details and also have access to the details of the “Plus” model. That will bring more powerful specifications than the standard version. Thus indicating the presence of Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, versions with up to 12GB of RAM, and internal storage that can arrive up to 256GB.
In addition to a set of cameras that promise to be superior to those present in Motorola Edge. Its smaller brother, with the main camera of 108MP, a wide-angle camera, and a third camera for zooming up to 3x. For the front camera, the Edge + is expected to bring the same 25MP camera as the standard version.
Still on the Edge +, it is worth remembering that the “Plus” is not only on the processor, memory, and storage. This novelty can arrive with a 5170mAh battery. In the term of the price, the Motorola Edge + will cost $1000 in the United States.
