We knew for a long time that Motorola was working on a new high-end mobile. The first of the company since the arrival of the Motorola Moto Z3 in 2018. In fact, by now we had already been able to see a good part of the technical sheet known as Motorola Edge Plus Smartphone, which should be presented by the firm belonging to Lenovo in some point in the next few months.
But until now, we still haven’t had a chance to take a look at his physical appearance. And I say so far because, thanks to the PriceBaba portal. Today we can see its first images, courtesy of the renowned “filter” OnLeaks.
On the Motorola Edge Plus, its name refers to the deep curves on either side of the device’s screen, making the panel’s side margins virtually invisible to the naked eye. According to information shared by the aforementioned portal, Motorola would have opted for one of the new “waterfall-type” screens, the curvature of which would be around a 90-degree angle.
Beyond that, the inclusion of a hole in the screen located at the top of the panel stands out. The size of this hole is striking, extremely reduced.
The same source also points out that the terminal will have dimensions of 161.1 mm, 41.3 mm and 9.5 mm. So that it will not be a precisely small or thin terminal. However, its lack of thinness will be justifiable by the inclusion of a battery that will exceed 5000mAh of capacity. If we stick to the latest leaked data on the phone.
Other details that we can extract from these images are the inclusion of a 3.5 mm jack on the top. The USB Type-C connector on the bottom edge, and a rear camera system made up of three different sensors. One of them noticeably bigger than the other two. There is also talk of the inclusion of a light ring that will surround the rear Motorola logo. This logo will act as a notification LED when the phone is face down on a table.
From the Motorola Edge Plus Smartphone we already know that it will arrive with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor inside, added to up to 12GB of RAM and a 6.67-inch Full HD + screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, the first of its kind in a brand mobile. The only thing that remains for us to know today is the details regarding its photographic section, as well as its price and date of market launch.
