In September 2020, ZTE introduced the first smartphone with an under-display front camera, it was something incredible and never seen before the Axon 20. Confirmation of this second generation of ZTE terminals with camera under the screen It has come to us thanks to the Chinese media ITHome which ensures that this year we will see three terminals of the Chinese manufacturer with the Snapdragon 888 processor and one of them will be the ZTE Axon 30 which will come with an improved version of its camera under the screen.
Now ZTE itself has confirmed via a taser that the next-generation flagship will be named ZTE Axon 30 and it will be equipped with the second-generation under-display camera technology of the company.
Compared with the punch-hole, the notch, and the pop-up screen, the under-display camera does not need any mechanical structure assistance while achieving a true full screen and increasing the screen-to-body ratio.
The Axon 30 is said to have a better screen, the manufacturer says than like any other sight currently on the market. The panel of this phone will adopt a new self-developed pixel arrangement and redesign the pixel drive circuit to further improve the light transmittance of the camera area below the screen. The combination of algorithms achieves almost the same imaging performance as the conventional front camera.
Additionally, the ZTE Axon 30 will be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 888. From this, the upcoming flagship is expected to become the industry’s first Snapdragon 888 equipped Smartphone with under-screen camera technology.
