On August 13th, Igeekphone reported that the blogger Digital Chat Station exposed the imaging configuration of the Xiaomi 16 series.
The blogger revealed that the Xiaomi 16 series has a 50-megapixel front camera, significantly enhancing its low-light performance. It supports AF focusing, wide viewing angles, and 4K 60fps video shooting. The rear camera is also 50 megapixels.

Among them, the standard version of Xiaomi 16 is equipped with a 50-megapixel new main camera with a large 1/1.3-inch sensor, while the Xiaomi 16 Pro is equipped with a 50-megapixel new main camera with a 1/1.3-inch ultra-high dynamic range. It also has a built-in ToF lens, and the Leica image algorithm has been significantly improved. Moreover, the standard version of Xiaomi 16 is equipped with an upright telephoto lens, and the Xiaomi 16 Pro is equipped with a periscope telephoto lens.
In terms of core configuration, the entire Xiaomi 16 series is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 platform. This chip adopts Qualcomm’s self-developed Oryon CPU, consisting of 2 super-large cores and 6 large cores, and integrates the Adreno 840 GPU. The GPU’s independent cache has been upgraded to 16MB.
In addition, the standard version of the Xiaomi 16 features a 1.5K straight screen, while the Pro version is equipped with a 2K straight screen. All models come with a large-capacity battery as standard. The new product will be officially launched in September.
