The Chinese OEMs are on fire, the month of August is some kind of holi month for release of gadgets and Xiaomi is rejuvenating itself in the flagship segment, after releasing some awesome budget segment smartphones, with the Xiaomi Mi Note 2.
Xiaomi is said to launch the MI Note 2 that will feature a 5.7-inch Quad HD Display. Under the hood the Mi Note 2 will have the newly announced snapdragon 821 processor that will be first to be used here. Mi Note 2 is expected to come with 4GB RAM with 32 / 64GB onboard storage. Coming to the camera section we can see 23MP back camera and a fingerprint sensor on the front with optical image stabilization(OIS) . Device will be powered by 3500 mAh battery with fast charge support.
The Mi Note 2 is expected to be most expensive device from Xiaomi till the date. The price of Mi note 2 is said to be more than 3000 Yuan. Also there are reports that some of Chinese smartphone makers Xiaomi, Meizu etc will be buying curved edged displays from Samsung. Some analysts have hinted that curved screen smartphones will be release by Xiaomi this year. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 may also have an Edge variant which will have curved screen. Chinese electronics industry analyst Pan Jiutang says the smartphone will certainly be released in August.
