Igeekphone News July 2nd: The YouTube channel Front Page Tech released a video today (July 2nd), showing the renderings of Apple’s thinnest iPhone 17 Air, claiming that its thickness is 5.5 millimeters. Equipped with a 6.6-inch 120Hz display, A19 chip, 12GB RAM and a 48-megapixel rear single camera.
Sources believe that the iPhone 17 Air will replace the Plus model and become the thinnest iPhone ever from Apple, with the thinnest part of the body being only 5.5 millimeters thick.
In terms of the screen, sources believe that the iPhone 17 Air will be equipped with a 6.6-inch OLED screen with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz.
In terms of specifications, this device will be equipped with 12GB of memory, a brand-new A19 chip, and Apple’s self-developed C1 5G baseband chip. In terms of imaging, the back of the body is equipped with a 48-megapixel single camera, mainly relying on computational photography and digital cropping to simulate the multi-camera function.
To compensate for the physical limitations brought about by the extreme thinness and lightness of the device, Apple will adjust the internal structure and may use high-density silicon anode batteries to maximize the capacity within the limited space.
The USB-C port will still be retained, but due to the rearrangement of the internal structure, the port position is at a vertical Angle and closer to the bottom.
