Cube today officially announced its new tablet, iPlay 50 Pro, which will be equipped with Mediatek’s 6-nanometer Helio G99 chip, positioning as an entry-level performance tablet.
No further information about the tablet is available yet, but the renderings appear to have a very narrow bezel and a straight screen. We’ll have to wait to see how it works.
I believe you are all familiar with Helio G99. The chip is based on a 6nm process and has eight cores arranged according to a “2 + 6” scheme, with the Cortex-A76 reaching peak frequencies of 2.2GHz and the Cortex-A55 at 2.0GHz. Integrated MALI-G57 MC2 GPU, providing 2133MHz LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 flash support.
The chip is 30% more energy efficient than the G96. This is a product made using 6 nanometers instead of 12 nanometers.
iGeekphone has learned that Cube launched Cube iPlay50 series tablet computer in October this year, which is for students and the elderly and has three optional systems: standard edition, education edition and elderly care edition. The 4+64GB version is 599 yuan, and the 6GB+128GB version is 799 yuan.
