Igeekphone News on October 21st: After Apple released the iPhone Air, many domestic manufacturers began to prepare to follow suit, including Huawei.
According to the blogger Digital Chat, the Huawei Mate 70 Air is about to make its debut, with the model number SUP-AL90. It supports 66W wired charging and is available in Obsidian Black, Feather White, and Gold Thread Silver Brocade.

The new model has now been listed in the telecommunications terminal product library. Information shows that its screen size is 6.9 inches, and it offers two storage specifications: 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. It comes with the HarmonyOS 5 operating system from the factory.
In terms of appearance, the Huawei Mate 70 Air remains consistent with the previous Mate 70 series, still featuring a family-style camera module with a large circular ring. In the middle of the lens, there is the logo of Huawei’s self-developed imaging XMAGE and a strip-shaped flash.
It is still not certain whether the “Air” in the name of this device refers to an ultra-thin body. Judging from the product definition of Huawei MatePad Air, there is no doubt that it focuses on being thin and light.

According to the leaks, the Huawei Mate 80 series will be released in November, and this Huawei Mate 70 Air is expected to make its debut on the same stage at the Mate 80 series launch event at the latest.
It is worth noting that previously, there were multiple reports suggesting that Huawei would launch an eSIM model, and it is very likely that the Mate 70 Air will be the first to be launched.
