Huawei Nova 3i: Released With Quad-Cameras, Kirin 710 SOC, Also Have Notch Just ¥1999, $333

Huawei Nova 3i was launched on Wednesday, The highlights of the Huawei Nova 3i include the new Kirin 710 SoC, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio with a display notch, and a 3340mAh battery.

The Huawei Nova 3i a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display encased in a full-glass body. Just like with the P20, Huawei will offer the Nova 3i in exciting colors: Primrose Gold, Light Blue, Blue Purple, and Bright Black. The phone measures 157.6 x 75.2 x 7.6mm and weighs 169 grams.

The Nova 3i is powered by Kirin 710 SoC that’s paired with 4 or 6 GB RAM. The 4 GB RAM variant comes with 128 GB storage, whereas, the 6 GB RAM variant comes in 64 GB as well as 128 GB storage options. Well, in case 128 GB of storage isn’t enough, then you can further expand the storage up to 256 GB via microSD card.

Nova 3i look to offer two tones Huawei P20 Pro Twilight-like backsides, making them only the third series from Huawei to offer this design feature. the Nova 3i offers 24MP + 2MP dual rear cameras and 16MP + 2MP dual front cameras.

Having said that, the Nova 3i also comes with features like 3D Qmoji and GPU Turbo. The former is Huawei’s take on Apple’s Animoji, Samsung’s AR Emoji and OPPO’s 3D Omoji, whereas, the latter is a graphics performance acceleration technology that improves the graphics performance by 60% while reducing power consumption by 30%.

All of these features are run by Android 8.1 Oreo skinned with EMUI 8.2. Connectivity of the Huawei Nova 3i is limited to Wi-Fi 80211b/g/n at 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 4.2. Though the phone has a 3.5mm audio jack, it also came with a micro USB with no Super Charge support. The Nova 3i battery has 3340mAh capacity, and it allows regular 10W charging.

The Nova 3i comes in Bright Black, Pearl White, and Blue-Purple. The 4GB model will sell for ¥1999 (~$297) and the 6GB + 64GB model will sell for ¥2199 (~$327). There is no info on the price of the 6GB RAM + 128GB model and when the phone will be available for purchase.
