Huawei will officially release the new Huawei P40 series Smartphones on March 26. And today, a blogger took some photos of Huawei P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ engineering prototype in advance. As we can see, due to the cover of the protective shell, the body cannot be seen, but the position of the latter module is consistent with the rendering.
It is said that the P40 Pro will be equipped with a rear Penta-Camera, of which the main camera lens is the Sony IMX700, which supports up to 5x optical zoom, while the front is a dual-hole camera.
This configuration is already super-class, but the P40 Pro+ is even more horrible, with up to Penta- Cameras at the rear. In which the main camera is still the Sony IMX700, with a 10x optical zoom periscope telephoto lens, ultra-wide-angle lens, ToF Lens. While the specific identity of the other lens is not yet confirmed, it may be a portrait lens or a medium focus lens.
Interestingly, the P40 Pro+ rear camera module security case is also very special, including two upper covers, the area is significantly larger.
Specifications
Besides, in terms of specifications, we already know a lot. This equipment will come with a Kirin 990 5G chipset and a screen that has a resolution of 3160 × 1440 pixels. We also have a pixel density of 518ppi. At the camera level, the P40 comes with three rear cameras. The P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ models come with four and five cameras, respectively.
More specifically and looking at the P40 Pro+, we have a 52MP main sensor (IMX700, 1.28-inch RYYB). It joins another 40MP (IMX650 1 / 1.5 inch, RGGB). Another three sensors stand out. An 8MP telephoto, another periscopic with 20 and finally a ToF. The latter is the one that deals with issues of depth.
However, there are 5 different models in the Huawei P40, P40 Pro, P40 Pro+, P40 Lite, and P40 Lite E ranges. And according to leaks, the P40 and P40 Pro will be available in 6 color options: silver, gray, orange, black, blue and aurora. On the other hand, the Huawei P40 Pro Plus will be available in black or white.
