Xiaomi has recently released the Global Stable ROM for MIUI 9. Soon after its roll out, the company confirmed that it has already started working on the development of the successor of MIUI 9. The VP of MIUI software division, Huang Longzhong had also confirmed that the MIUI X would be arriving later this year. It is not known whether the upcoming MIUI version will be called MIUI X or MIUI 10. Xiaomi has now started an opinion poll to decide on the right name for its next version of MIUI.
The official Weibo page of MIUI contains the new poll and the users are provided with two options to choose from, namely MIUI X and MIUI 10. The poll is also available on MIUI official WeChat public number. Previous rumors had claimed that it would be called MIUI X. However, when Xiaomi had recently announced the development of the next MIUI edition, it had used MIUI 10 moniker in its presentation. It seems that the company is still seeking suggestion to decide on the best name for it.

Voting is available for a period of 6 days. As of this writing, more than 180,000 people have voted and 63 percent among them seems to prefer the MIUI 10 name. There is not many information available on the features that will be arriving on the next MIUI version. However, Xiaomi has previously confirmed that the MIUI 10 will be focusing on AI.
