POCO M2 Pro Debut In India With Snapdragon 720G and 48MP Camera

POCO has made another breakthrough in the smartphone market in India because his latest smartphone called POCO M2 Pro has appeared. Interestingly, this mid-range smartphone arrives with fast charging for a 5000mAh battery that has 33W of power. Unfortunately, the POCO M2 Pro is largely identical to the Redmi Note 9 Pro which is also sold in India, sold globally as the Redmi Note 9S.

As we saw in the Redmi Note 9 Pro, they have based the design on the vertical symmetry at the rear and in the new POCO, we also see a square module right in the center. Gorilla Glass 5 and a side fingerprint reader for this mobile that comes in three colors: green, blue, and black.

Speaking of the screen, the POCO M2 Pro integrates a 6.67-inch IPS panel with FullHD + resolution. For the insertion of the front camera, the hole was chosen, remaining in the center.

Like the Redmi Note 9S, the new mobile from POCO has the Snapdragon 720G, with options of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and 6GB and 128GB, both with the possibility of expanding with microSD up to 512GB. They have also updated the vibrate button and incorporate 2×2 MIMO.

Coming to the cameras, the device features a quad-camera array comprised of a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 5MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro lens. The front camera, meanwhile, is a 16MP shooter.

The POCO M2 Pro packs a 5000mAh battery and supports fast charging via a 33W fast charger, promising up to 50% charge in 30 minutes. On the software front, this phone ships with MIUI 11 for POCO based on Android 10. Other notable highlights of the POCO M2 Pro include IR blaster, a 3.5-mm audio jack, bottom-firing speaker, Bluetooth 5.0, dual VoLTE with VoWiFi support, and support for Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC).

The POCO M2 Pro will go on sale starting 14th July via Flipkart for a starting price of ₹13,999 ($187) for the 4GB + 64GB variant. The 6GB + 64GB variant will cost you ₹14,999 ($200), while the top model with 6GB + 128GB will cost ₹16,999 ($227).
