Redmi Note 7 Starts Receiving MIUI 12 Stable Version Update


Xiaomi continues the distribution of MIUI 12 according to the provisions of the roadmap released by the manufacturer. After Redmi Note 9, whose update dates back to a couple of days ago, it is the turn of Redmi Note 7 at one time became a bestseller. In the first six months on the market, sales exceeded 15 million units.

As is usually the case, Chinese users received a stable update first. Similar firmware update for the international market will appear a little later. The MIUI V12.0.1.0.QFGCNXM update is 681MB in size. The MIUI 12 shell is based on Android 10.

MIUI 12 offers a significantly redesigned interface, takes animation to the next level, improves the dark theme, improves security, offers redesigned branded apps, and much more. Redmi Note 7 does not support “super wallpapers”.

The first batch of MIUI12 compatible models has been rolled out, and the second batch of models will be gradually pushed out before the end of September. The second batch of models includes 15 models including Xiaomi 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note7/ Pro, Redmi 10X 5G, Redmi 10X /Pro 5G, Redmi 10X 4G.

The Redmi Note 7 was officially released on January 10, 2019, and Redmi Note7 Pro was released on February 28, 2019. Redmi Note 7 uses a Snapdragon 660AIE processor and a 48-megapixel lens. This is the first Redmi smartphone to use a Samsung GM1 48MP and its launch price was about $140.
