For a long time, there has been talk of the future top of the Redmi range with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. The project should be unveiled in China at a presentation event scheduled for May 13th. Waiting for this event, new rumors of today anticipate that Redmi smartphones with Snapdragon 855 could be two.
In fact, Redmi could be working on two different projects but they will all have different elements. In addition to the SoC, in fact, the two smartphones will be made in three colors (Red, Blue and Carbon Fiber) and in different combinations of RAM and storage (6 / 8GB of RAM and 64/128 / 256GB).
The differences between the two projects should relate to other elements of the technical data sheet such as the display or front camera which in at least one of the two new Redmi smartphones will be concealed. Possible differences could be found in the rear camera and in the positioning of the fingerprint sensor.
