The manual of Samsung’s most expensive mobile phone: Galaxy Z TriFold has been exposed

Igeekphone News, December 5th: Source Evan Blass posted a tweet on the X platform yesterday (December 4th), sharing a 174-page official user manual that details the detailed specifications and functional layout of the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold foldable phone.

This user manual not only covers basic information such as applications and function Settings, but also presents the specific layout of the phone in folded and unfolded states through detailed diagrams, providing the most authoritative reference for long-awaited digital enthusiasts.

The schematic diagrams in the manual clarify a key hardware detail. In the expanded state diagram, although the text “Headphone Jack” appears, this is not a traditional 3.5mm interface but a universal USB-C interface. Considering the extremely thin and light form of the body, it is expected that the physical headphone jack will be removed.

In terms of the system, page 56 of the manual presents the camera interface, whose UI design is highly similar to that of the Galaxy Z Fold7, indicating that Samsung has maintained family-style continuity in the multi-screen interaction logic and has a relatively low entry threshold for users.

In terms of usage, the folding direction of this phone is limited to the only correct direction: if the user mistakenly applies force in the opposite direction, the body will vibrate strongly to alert the error and prevent damage caused by incorrect folding.

It is worth noting that the manual contains several strict safety warnings. Firstly, as the interior of the device uses a large number of magnets to achieve a three-fold structure, Samsung explicitly advises users who have implanted pacemakers or other medical devices to avoid placing their phones near implants (such as in the chest pocket).

Secondly, the manual particularly points out that the ventilation holes on the body must not be blocked, otherwise abnormal noise may occur during calls or media playback. This implies that this model may have adopted some kind of active or passive auxiliary cooling mechanism.

In addition to the hardware parameters, the manual also confirmed that the Galaxy Z TriFold will support an independent Samsung DeX desktop experience and an enhanced multi-window view function. This means that when fully unfolded, this device will no longer merely be a mobile phone, but a mobile workstation capable of handling complex office tasks.

In terms of the release date, local users in South Korea will be the first to experience this new product on December 12, 2025, while consumers in the US market will have to wait patiently until the first quarter of 2026.
