Igeekphone News, November 4th: The Walkman Blog, a technology media outlet, published a blog post yesterday (November 3rd), revealing that SONY is brewing two Android phones, the Xperia 1 VIII and the Xperia 10 VIII, which are planned to be launched in 2026.
Igeekphone reported in October that the PM-1521-BV, PM-1522-BV and PM-1523-BV models correspond to SONY’s flagship model Xperia 1 VIII. This time, six PM-153x-BV models have been discovered through further expansion. Estimated different regional versions corresponding to Xperia 10 VIII mobile phones:
PM-1530-BV
PM-1531-BV
PM-1532-BV
PM-1533-BV
PM-1534-BV
PM-1535-BV

The media believes that these models do not correspond to the Xperia 5 series. The main reason is that SONY clearly discontinued the Xperia 5 series a year ago due to the decline in market demand. At that time, the authorities believed that this product line had become “redundant”, so the possibility of restarting it at this stage was extremely low. In contrast, as the main force in the mid-range market, it is more logical for the Xperia 10 series to keep updated.
