This device supports 90W wired charging, offers the IMX882 periscope and wireless charging, and is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It is positioned as a “thin, light and large foldable” phone.
Just now, Han Boxiao, the product manager of vivo, released some information about the vivo X Fold5, stating that the vivo X Fold5 will break the record of the world’s lightest large folding (inner folding) phone set by the X Fold3 (219g). Meanwhile, the quality of the new device has been comprehensively upgraded and it will become the world’s first three-proof large folding device.
Igeekphone noticed that in May this year, the technology media Xpertpick disclosed the specification information of the vivo X Fold5 foldable phone. It is reported that this device is equipped with a 6.53-inch LTPO outer screen and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. When unfolded, it is equipped with an 8.03-inch AMOLED foldable screen with a resolution of 2K+ and also supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
In terms of chips, the vivo X Fold5 adopts the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage space. In terms of battery, this device is equipped with a 6000mAh battery and supports 90W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging.
In terms of imaging, both the outer and inner screens are equipped with a 32-megapixel front camera. The rear triple-camera system includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens (with autofocus support), and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens. In terms of size, the vivo X Fold5 is said to pursue extreme thinness and lightness in design. When unfolded, its thickness is only 4.3mm, and when folded, it is 9.33mm, becoming one of the thinnest foldable screen phones on the market.
