Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition Released: Snapdragon 660, Gradient Color Back Cover, Starting from 1399 Yuan ($204)

At today’s Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition conference, Xiaomi first brought two new mobile phones, one is the Xiaomi Mi 8 screen fingerprint version, and the other is the protagonist Xiaomi 8 Mi Youth Edition. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition has been officially unveiled. When it comes to the Youth Edition, Xiaomi gives three definitions: a more trendy appearance, a close to the flagship configuration, and a higher price/performance ratio.

The design of Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition is inspired by Impressionist Master Monet. The mirror gradient of the back shell is the same vacuum nano-sputtering process as the flagship machine of Huawei P20. The front profile is more stunning than the iPhone XR. It is embodied in a full screen with a width of only 19.4mm, a 2.68mm wide upper frame, and a 1.95mm wide side. The body thickness is 7.5mm.

The front self-timer part is also the selling point of Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition. It mainly supports an AI nude makeup beauty, intelligent eyebrow tattoo, natural beauty line, jelly lip, screen fill light and even AI video beauty with a 24 million pixel Sony .576.

The rear adopts the same 12MP main camera (1.4µm, dual-core focus, f/1.9) with the same model as Xiaomi Mi 8, and the sub-photograph 5MP. It has a 12-to-0 advantage for the Huawei P20 in the AI ?? scene recognition.

Basic hardware, Xiaomi MI 8 Youth Edition equipped with Snapdragon 660 AIE chip (8 core 2.2GHz), 6.26-inch 1080P resolution display, 3350mAh battery (QC3.0 fast charge), dual card dual 4G full Netcom 5.0, integrated small Love classmates (add new drift bottle function).

In terms of details, Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition supports the Vulkan version of “design of the King”, which is stable for two hours in a row, and the picture is also more delicate.
