Xiaomi and Qualcomm are Designing a Special GPU For the Mi 10 Pro +

The upcoming flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro + will have a unique utility from Xiaomi and Qualcomm that allows you to adjust various parameters of the graphics accelerator, including its frequency. This was announced by the authoritative insider @IceUniverse by posting screenshots of this application.

This new software will help those who deal with Gaming on Smartphones, to improve the gaming experience, giving them a degree of control that is similar to what we see on PCs.

In other words, in addition to enhancing the performance of your smartphone, Mi 10 Pro Plus owners will also be able to modify various graphics parameters such as Anti-Aliasing, Anisotropic Filtering, and even Texture Filtering.

As you can see from the images provided by Ice Universe, the GPU Turbo also offers GPU configuration control, allowing users to adjust up to the GPU frequency. This will allow you to modify almost all parameters related to GPU performance and timing, something that was not previously available from any OEM manufacturer.

In addition, the images also reveal the use of different GPU performance profiles, which will be stored. This will make instant profiles available for use such as Default, Energy Saving, Balanced Performance, High Quality, and a custom profile by yourself.

All of the above are quite similar to the NVIDIA control panel for PC gaming, which also offers the ability to customize multiple settings to the gaming parameters. The settings menu seems to be simplified and in order, so it should be quite easy to navigate even a beginner. We may see this new GPU Turbo feature later integrated into other Xiaomi flagships equipped with Snapdragon SoC.
