Xiaomi is launching a new series of smartphones called Xiaomi CC on July 2, which is expected to be named Xiaomi CC9. There is no official specification yet, but today Lei Jun the co-founder and chairman of Xiaomi has revealed something on the Weibo website, there will be a front camera to take selfies. High resolution up to 32MP with a newly enhanced beauty mode.
By Xiaomi posted that the camera will “restore the skin naturally” and will “record the beauty of each period” which may sound like an advertisement. But that is just a marketing talk about the new vehicle of the new advanced beauty system that the President of Xiaomi said in early June.
At this time, the information of the Xiaomi Mi CC 9 only has a 32MP selfie camera with advanced beauty mode. There are no details such as chipsets and batteries. The Mi CC9 is expected to come in 2 versions in order to capture a larger youth market.
As we can see in the official poster of Meitu has 2 custom versions, codenamed “Little Prince” and “Little Fairy”. From this announcement, we can assume that tailored versions of Mi CC9 will target both men and ladies. This is a fresh move for Meitu, which made mobile only for women.
