Xiaomi’s new product lines always surprise us by what convenience it brings. Last month, we had hand-held vacuum cleaners, smart bike pumps, pet machines or smart trash, … today, Xiaomi’s list of these devices adds one more device and presented all the details of its new virtual reality glasses, Mi 3D Cinema, a new device that comes with better construction materials and new features to make the user experience more immersive.
This new generation of virtual reality glasses comes with the great novelty of being more economical than the previous model, incorporating synchronous screen technology, thus optimizing the synchronization of the two screens and effectively reducing the dizziness caused by some users.
Xiaomi Mi 3D Cinema has two totally independent LCD type screens, each of them of 2.54 inches. In this way, each of our eyes will receive a different image, thus achieving a much more realistic 3D user experience.
Inside we find 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM memory and a 16GB flash memory expandable by memory cards of up to 256GB or even through its OTG cable in which we can connect external hard drives. In addition to playing 3D content, these new Xiaomi virtual reality glasses support 2D video with video playback up to 4K resolution at 60fps.
Xiaomi Mi 3D Cinema has a diagonal angle of view of 63º, thus achieving a very comfortable vision similar to the one we would have in a cinema. In addition, each of its 2.54-inch screens can virtualize a screen of up to 954 inches at a distance of 20 meters.
Its system is based on MIUI TV, so it has a wide catalog of multimedia content, whether it be movies, videos, applications or videogames. It also has support to play content wirelessly from any iOS device, Android, MacOS or Windows.
For now, these new Xiaomi Mi 3D Cinema glasses are only for sale in China and its price is 1299 yuan, about $188. Even so, if you find yourself in China, you can buy them at a lower price, accepting various offers that Xiaomi has made available to its customers.
