Over the past few weeks since the beginning of summer, the network has received a lot of information about the new brand of Xiaomi, which she calls Pocophone. Phones on behalf of this trademark will be sold in the US, Europe, Russia, India and many more countries around the world. Now the manufacturer is actively preparing to launch the first model under this name, but so far it is not known exactly what exactly this name means. Today, July 12, 2018, insiders have posted a lot of information on the phone Xiaomi Pocophone F1.
In particular, in the Chinese social network Weibo appeared a small 10-second video, which sheds light on the appearance of the front of the new phone, and in addition – its technical equipment. The mobile device has a large notch in the top, so, most likely, it has a full-fledged 3D Face face scanner. Under the screen there is an indentation of impressive size, so the novelty is not guaranteed to be a premium phone, which means you can count on an affordable price tag at the level of $320 – $400.
I managed to find out that the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 smartphone runs on the MIUI 9 firmware, based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The device itself has a model index M1805E10A. As for technical equipment, there is an 8-core chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with a clock speed of 2.8 GHz, graphics accelerator Adreno 630, 6GB of operating and 128GB of permanent flash memory, a USB Type-C connector, as well as support for two SIM cards. There is no information about another “gland” of data.
Now it is not entirely clear what exactly the Pocophone line will be like. Perhaps this name will receive only one phone, although it is extremely unlikely, and perhaps under this brand will only be issued exclusively flagship models. The whole truth should be disclosed by the manufacturer in the next 2-3 months because exactly during this time the presentation of this phone is expected.
