Today, Xiaomi has unveiled a new TwentySeventeen Light Mechanical Wristwatch on its Youpin crowdfunding platform. It is a new “non-smart” watch with a steel case and a quartz mechanism with a price of just 179 Yuan (about $26).
This watch looks a lot like the previous generation, but the main difference is that it comes with an ultra-thin 5.5 mm thick design. It has a compact aesthetic and superior protection is made of sapphire glass which gives it not only an excellent resistance but also a premium appearance.
According to the official release note, Xiaomi TwentySeventeen is equipped with a quartz mechanism and is meant to be unisex (made for men and women), but women may find it more fascinating because of its ultra-thin design.
By optimizing the design of the metal structure of the product, the ultra-thin quartz movement is deeply integrated and is close to the wrist when worn.
