The ZTE unveiled the Axon 20 5G last year, where one of its main highlights was the use of a hidden camera in the front screen. As such, it was the first smartphone sold on a global scale to feature such technology. Now, the successor line, called ZTE Axon 30, should arrive again with this technology, and the Axon 30 Ultra should even have a focus on photography. The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra is the new flagship of the Chinese brand, a powerful phone that stands out for having triple 64MP sensors on its back and Snapdragon 888 SoC with 12 GB of RAM.
The manufacturer confirmed that the most expensive model should arrive with a mode called Super Moon Ultra; with a focus on astrophotography, to capture the stars and the moon at night. ZTE has published some things showing how the device behaves in the recording of images, more specifically using the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra 5G.
In addition, the model must have a multi-camera synchronization to fuse images produced; by the different photographic sensors of the device for a different perspective, as you can see in the images above. Also, in videos published by the brand, we see several features of the device. For example, it will, in fact, have three 64 MP cameras, one of which is an f / 1.6 aperture main; an ultra-wide-angle secondary, and a deep tertiary. There is also a fourth 8 MP telephoto camera for zoom; all within a rectangle in the upper left rear corner of the model.

The rear cameras are the strong point in this ZTE Axon 30 Ultra; which has four sensors: 64 Mpx main sensor; a 64 Mpx ultra-wide-angle with a 120º field of view, and a third 64 Mpx sensor; dubbed Superhuman by the brand and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with five-magnification optical zoom. It is unknown what this Superhuman sensor is or what it can do, but it is presented as a powerful sensor combination; which will meet in all kinds of situations.
As is usual in the high-end range, the fingerprint sensor is located under the panel of the device. Android 11 is the operating system installed as standard on the phone.
Price and availability
This ZTE Axon 30 Ultra has already been announced in China, but it seems that it will also be launched outside the country. It has already been confirmed that it will be available in the United States and Canada; so it is likely that it will also end up arriving in Spain within a few months. The phone will launch in two versions of RAM and storage (8/128 GB and 12/256 GB) in black and white colors. There will be an edition with a leather back in other colors, such as a gold / beige tone.
