Igeekphone News, August 6th: According to iphone-Ticker.de, internal information from a German mobile phone supplier indicates that Apple’s iPhone 17 series launch event this year seems to be scheduled for September 9th (which is the early morning of September 10th, Beijing time).
Previously, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman predicted that Apple would release the iPhone 17 in the week of September 8th, and pointed out that September 9th or 10th was the most likely date. This news from the German operator is in line with Gurman’s prediction.

According to Apple’s usual practice, pre-orders for the iPhone 17 will start on the first Friday after the press conference (September 12th). The new device is expected to be officially launched on Friday, September 19th. At that time, major markets such as the United States, China, Europe and Japan will be the first to release it.

This year’s press conference is expected to introduce iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air (replacing the Plus model), iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. In addition to the new iPhone, Apple may also release the Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and possibly the AirPods Pro 3.
According to Igeekphone, usually, Apple sends out invitations to the media a week before major events, which means that the earliest invitation to confirm the date of the press conference could be sent out is Tuesday, September 2nd.
