Along with the flagship Huawei P40 series, Chinese tech giant Huawei will launch a new smartwatch called Huawei Watch GT 2e at its digital event slated for March 26. Today, the company published a new poster on its weibo account. This poster is revealing the new color variant of Watch GT 2e.
Huawei Watch GT 2 already has a Rose Gold stainless steel and Milanese strap but only in 42mm. It’s possible that the company may launch a new Rose Gold variant for 46mm in stainless steel.
About the Design
We already know almost everything about the Huawei Watch GT 2e. Thanks to leaked its render and specs released by WinFuture’s Roland Quandt. The GT 2e presents small improvements in terms of design compared to its predecessor Huawei Watch GT 2.
Internals
According to WinFuture, the GT 2e retains the same 1.39-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 454 × 454 pixels. Apart from that, the smartwatch is driven by the in-house a low-power ARM Cortex-M3-SoC HiSilicon Hi1132 chip. it has 4GB of onboard storage that will allow you to store about 500 songs. In terms of connectivity, the smartwatch will be compatible with the Bluetooth 5.1 (BLE) standard.
As for the sensors, this watch has a barometer, accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, heart rate sensor, pedometer, motion sensor, and microphone. The watch will have GPS, sleep tracking, heart rate, and fitness tracking capabilities.
Additionally, the smartwatch will sport a 455mAh battery. Which takes about an hour and a half to charge through its magnetic pins. In addition, the battery life can last a total of 30 hours in GPS mode. Furthermore, if you are using it to listen to music over Bluetooth, the battery life will be up to 24 hours.
Price and Availability
Lastly, The availability of Huawei Watch GT 2e has not been known yet, however, it will set users back by $220. In addition, It will come with three color variants: Graphite Black, Volcano Red, and Mint Green.
