Motorola has also launched itself more decisively in the sector of top-of-the-range smartphones since last year and intends to continue on this path also in 2021. This time, two new Motorola phones have just appeared on the Chinese certification site TENAA database – marked XT2143-1 and XT2153-1, and it is believed that they are Edge 20 and Edge 20 Pro models.
Featuring the XT2153-1 model code, the phone appears to be the Motorola Edge 20 Pro and the images reveal a redesigned design. The front has a flat display panel with a hole made for the front camera. The phone has a Google Assistant button on the left and power and volume buttons on the right. The design of the edges of the phone looks smoother than before.
The back of the device has a box-shaped camera area with three camera sensors, an LED flash, and a microphone. One of the cameras is an image-based periscope camera, so the phone should offer better zooming capabilities than before. The back of the Edge 20 Pro also features the Motorola logo.
TENAA has reported the Edge 20 Pro as measuring 163.3 x 76.1 x 7.9 mm and weighing 190 grams. The phone has a 6.67-inch OLED display panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. TENAA confirms that the phone will receive a 4230mAh battery, and Android 11 operating system, and four cameras. The phone has 6, 8, or 12GB of RAM and 128, 256, or 512GB of internal storage. The system circuit in the phone is the Snapdragon 870. TENAA has reported the color versions of the phone as black, green, blue, pink, silver, and gray.
According to previous data, the Motorola Edge 20 Pro would have a 108MP main camera and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera that can also capture macro images. The third of the cameras is an 8MP periscope camera that offers 5x optical zoom. Motorola has put a 32MP front camera on the front of the phone, but the device only has a 16MP front camera in China. So far, there is no information on phone pricing.
Another phone unveiled through Tena is the base model Motorola Edge 20 (XT2143-1), which will be similar in design to its big brother but a little more angular. The front panel shows a flat display panel, and the device has a Google Assistant button on the left and power and volume buttons on the right. The sides of this model are flat and the back of the device is also flat.

The battery lasts for 3760mAh and is powered by Android 11. Motorola will offer 6, 8, or 12GB of RAM and 128, 256, or 512GB of internal storage. Performance should depend on the Snapdragon 778G system circuit.
According to previous data, the Edge 20 should also offer a 32MP front camera, a 108MP main camera, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and an 8MP level camera with 3x optical zoom. Motorola is known to provide a high refresh rate of 120 Hz on the phone screen. TENAA has reported that the Edge 20 comes in several color versions: green, white, black, silver, blue, and gray.
