Redmi K30S Official With 144 Hz Screen and SD 865 Starting at $390

As promised, the Chinese company Xiaomi today announced its productive smartphone Redmi K30S, which is an updated Mi 10T model that was unveiled in China late last month and arrived in India just a couple of weeks ago.

It comes with a 144Hz display and also includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. The Redmi K30S is also equipped with a triple rear camera. So let’s review the technical sheet of this Xiaomi Redmi K30s, a high-end with a high refresh rate and a fairly successful design.

At the design level, the Xiaomi Redmi K30s is identical to the Xiaomi Mi 10T. It has a hole in its screen, a rather distinctive rear, and a huge camera module, which houses four cameras.

The Redmi K30S will have a 6.7-inch Full HD Plus display. It supports MEMC and HDR 10 Plus. It has a pixel resolution of 1080 x 2400 and an aspect ratio of 20: 9. Again its refresh rate is 144 Hz and brightness is 650 nits. The display protection phone has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back.

The phone comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 65 processor. It also has up to 8GB of RAM (LPPDR5) and up to 256GB of storage (UFS 3.1). This phone runs on the Android 10 based MIUI 12 interface.

Speaking of the Camera

This phone has a triple rear camera setup. Its primary camera is a 64MP Sony IMX82 sensor with f / 1.79 aperture. There is also a 13MP ultraviolet lens with a 123-degree field of view and a 5MP macro sensor. It has a 20MP front camera for selfies. This camera can record 6K videos and slow-motion videos.

For power, you will get a 5000mAh battery in the Redmi K30S. It will support 33-watt fast charging. Here you will find a USB Type-C port for charging. The Redmi K30S has AI Face Unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone comes with stereo speakers, high-race audio certification, and X-Axis linear vibrator motor.

Xiaomi Redmi K30S will go on sale in black and silver colors and it has been priced at 2599 yuan (roughly $387) for the 128GB storage option, while its 256GB variant costs 2799 yuan (about $417). There is also an initial discount of 300 yuan, which brings the price of the phone down to around $45.

Accepting orders for the new product will begin in the coming days, but actual sales will start on November 11. Recall that Xiaomi Mi 10T in the configuration of 6/128GB and 8/128GB by the company in Europe was estimated at 499/549 euros, respectively. There is no official information about the availability of Redmi K30S outside of China.
