Last week Realme announced it would launch the world’s first smartphone with a 64MP camera. The smartphone will be released on August 8. Not wanting overtaken by realme, redmi which is a sub-brand Xiaomi plans to launch a new smartphone in this month. That is, the Redmi phone glides right one day before the 64MP handset is realme.

Today, the company has published a teaser image, which tells about the imminent announcement of an advanced smartphone. The image features the Redmi and Mi logos, as well as the slogan “Images of the Future”. Thus, the company hints at innovative features in terms of photography.

It is not certain whether the phone will actually be released on the date listed on the poster. Because the tagline in the poster seemed to signal a mobile photography event, but not directly clarify the plan to launch a smartphone.

The announcement will take place on August 7, that is, this coming Wednesday. Observers are confident that Redmi will present a smartphone with a 64MP camera, the preparation of which was reported earlier.

Reported by Gizmochina (5/8), the Ice Universe said the Smartphone will be released this month. But the famous leaker did not indulge in the launch date. The event which will be held in realme also referred to in the tweet Sudhanshu Ambhore is the 64MP camera demo event, not the launch of the smartphone.

The 64MP camera technology itself is expected to change mobile photography today. However, many people don’t like it because the 64MP sensor uses Pixel Binning like a 48MP camera. In other words, smartphone vendors combine four 16MP resolutions in 64MP images, which makes it brighter when used for photographing low-light objects.
