Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite has just appeared on the Android list, and this may be another version of Mi CC9 or it is renamed for some markets. Today, Mishaal Rahman, editor-in-chief of XDA-Developers, tweeted on Twitter that a new device called Mi 9 Lite has appeared on Google’s list of Android-certified devices.
This device is another version of Xiaomi CC9 and has the same code name Pyxis. There has not been much information regarding Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite but apart from changing the name, it is possible that this model will have the same configuration with Mi CC9.
The hardware specifications of the Mi 9 Lite have also been revealed in several recent reports. Accordingly, due to being a renamed version of Mi CC9, the device will carry a similar configuration with this Chinese smartphone. Specifically, Mi 9 Lite is equipped with a 6.39 inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution, a pixel density of 403ppi, 19.5: 9 ratio and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
The Mi 9 Lite will run on a Snapdragon 710 chip with 6GB of RAM and 64 / 128GB of internal memory, with support for expansion through a microSD card. It has triple cameras on the back with 48MP + 8MP + 2MP resolution, f / 1.8 aperture, the selfie camera on the front has a resolution of 32MP, f / 2.0.
The battery comes with a 4030mAh capacity, supports 18W fast charging, runs on Android 9 Pie platform with MIUI 10 interface and will soon be upgraded to MIUI 11.
This is not the first time a Xiaomi phone has different names in some markets, such as Redmi K20 / K20 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 9T / 9T Pro are the most recent examples. There is also the Redmi Note 5A (Prime) launched as Redmi Y1 in India.
Earlier this year there were rumors of a smartphone called Mi 9X but so far this model has not been announced. Meanwhile, Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite has a higher chance of launching because it has appeared in the list of Android devices certified by Google.
