The launch of the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro is getting closer. This phone is a new flagship of the Chinese giant that comes with five cameras on the back including a 108MP camera from Samsung. We already saw that sensor in the Xiaiomi Mi Mix Alpha, but that phone was only meant as a concept. The Mi CC9 Pro will be unveiled on November 6, although most of the phone’s specifications have just been leaked by Chinese media.
The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro gets a 6.47 inch AMOLED screen with a waterdrop notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and curved screen edges. According to the new information, Xiaomi will have the edges of the phone light up, as we saw earlier with Samsung phones, among others.
The device also has a Snapdragon 730G under the hood, which is an improved version of the Snapdragon 730 that is aimed at gaming. It uses an 8-nanometer process with the same architecture as the Snapdragon 855 from Qualcomm. The phone is accompanied by 6GB, 8GB or 12GB RAM and respectively 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, but it is not yet known which models will be available with us.
Remarkably, Xiaomi would unpack with a large battery of 5260mAh. It is not the first time that Xiaomi has chosen such a battery, because we saw it earlier with the 5500mAh battery of the Mi Mix 3. The Mi CC9 Pro also comes with a 30-watt charger. The Mi CC9 Pro has a USB-c port and a 3.5 mm audio jack. There is also a fingerprint scanner under the screen. The device will work on the MIUI 11 shell from Xiaomi which is based on Android 10.
That brings us to the camera and the 108MP main camera that is assisted by four other lenses. Although the setup of the Mi CC9 Pro looks very different compared to the five cameras of the Nokia 9 PureView. Above the main camera is a 12MP camera that is specially intended for portrait photos and also a 5MP tele camera that can handle up to 50x digital zoom. There is also a wide-angle camera with a 20MP sensor and a 2MP macro camera.
The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro is unveiled on November 6. The price tag of the telephone is also still uncertain. Xiaomi would also announce his first WearOS watch together with the Mi CC9 Pro.
