Today, founder and CEO of Xiaomi Lei Jun said on Weibo that tomorrow at 10:00 am, the company will announce a new series of Smartphones. This new smartphone will come with the latest in photo software along with hundreds of algorithms that can alter the images we capture with your selfie camera or main camera.
Both companies have made the announcement through Weibo with the sample of a photograph made to the charismatic fashion child Gavin Thomas. In the image, Xiaomi mentions that this photograph has been taken with the selfie camera of the new smartphone that the company is going to launch to the market and that it will be a new flagship series in portrait photography.
It is expected that this new terminal of Xiaomi and Meitu will be exclusively dedicated to a demanding public in selfie photography although it is said that it will have powerful hardware and beautiful design to be attractive to almost all the Chinese public.
Tomorrow we will have more reliable data from both manufacturers. We remember that yesterday saw the head of development of Meitu and Lin Bin, head of the mobile technology area of Xiaomi showing a new smartphone with 4 lenses in the back.
This would be the first smartphone of Xiaomi to join the fashion of the 4 lenses in the back. At the moment there are no more details of this terminal than the image that you can see, where a ToF sensor could be present for better scanning of portrait scenes.
