MediaTek has officially entered the PC processor market with the Dimensity CX C10 Max, the first flagship SoC in its new Dimensity Compute Experiences (CX) family. Built for next-generation AI-focused laptops, the chip is designed to power an upcoming premium Googlebook and combines high-performance CPU cores, an 11-core GPU, dedicated AI processing, and power-efficient connectivity.
TSMC 3nm Process and All-Big-Core CPU
The Dimensity CX C10 Max is manufactured using TSMC’s 3nm process technology and features an eight-core “All Big Core” CPU configuration. The processor combines one Arm Cortex-X925 core clocked at up to 3.73GHz with three Cortex-X4 cores and four Cortex-A720 cores.
MediaTek also equips the platform with 12MB of L3 cache and 10MB of system-level cache (SLC). This architecture is designed to handle demanding multitasking and productivity workloads while maintaining the efficiency needed for thin and lightweight laptop designs.

11-Core GPU and 55 TOPS AI Performance
For graphics, the chip integrates an Arm Immortalis-G925 MC11 GPU with 11 cores. This provides the graphics processing capability needed for everyday productivity, multimedia, and more demanding visual workloads.
AI processing is handled by MediaTek’s NPU 890, which delivers up to 55 TOPS of AI performance. The NPU is specifically designed to support Gemini Intelligence features on Googlebook devices, with MediaTek highlighting faster responses and improved privacy through on-device AI processing.
Fast Memory, Storage and Connectivity
The Dimensity CX C10 Max supports LPDDR5X memory at up to 9600Mbps and UFS 4.0 storage. It also provides three PCIe 4.0 lanes and supports a full-featured USB 5Gbps connection.
For displays, the platform can support up to 4K60 output, including dual external 4K displays through compatible DisplayPort/MST configurations.
Wireless connectivity is another key part of the platform. The chip supports Wi-Fi 7 with speeds of up to 7.3Gbps, while Bluetooth 6.0 is available for compatible wireless peripherals and audio devices.
32MP Camera Support for AI Video Features
MediaTek has also integrated its Imagiq 1090 ISP into the C10 Max. The image processor supports camera sensors of up to 32MP and is designed to enable features such as HDR video capture, electronic image stabilization, smoother video zoom, and sustained autofocus.
These capabilities are particularly relevant to modern laptops, where webcams are increasingly used for video meetings, livestreaming, and AI-assisted communication.
Designed for Thin and Fanless Googlebooks
Beyond raw specifications, MediaTek is positioning the Dimensity CX C10 Max around power efficiency. The company says the platform can help manufacturers create thinner, lighter and fanless laptops with all-day battery life.
The chip is therefore aimed at more than traditional notebook performance. Its combination of an all-big-core CPU, 11-core GPU, 55 TOPS NPU and 3nm manufacturing process is designed to support multitasking, productivity applications, entertainment and on-device AI assistance in compact systems.
An Upcoming Googlebook Will Use the C10 Max
MediaTek has confirmed that the Dimensity CX C10 Max will be used in an upcoming premium Googlebook. Separate reporting indicates that Lenovo is preparing a Googlebook powered by the chip, although the exact model name, pricing and launch date have not yet been officially disclosed.
The C10 Max marks an important expansion of MediaTek’s Dimensity brand beyond smartphones and tablets into personal computing. With its 3nm process, 55 TOPS NPU, high-performance CPU configuration and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, the platform is designed to bring more on-device AI capabilities to the next generation of lightweight Googlebook laptops.
