Redmi Note12 Turbo VS Redmi K60E Quick Comparison Review

    HabibBy HabibAugust 14, 2023
Facebook Twitter Pinterest LinkedIn Tumblr Email

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Redmi K60E are popular choices within the 1,000 to 2,000 yuan price bracket. These two models share numerous resemblances, with the Redmi Note 12 Turbo having superior performance and the Redmi K60E showcasing a higher screen quality. Notably, the processor’s significance in budget devices greatly influences long-term smoothness, reinforcing the Redmi Note 12 Turbo preference.

Points of Similarity between Redmi K60E and Redmi Note12 Turbo:

    Hardware

The Redmi K60E employs the Dimensity 8200 processor, achieving an Antutu benchmark score of nearly 800,000. While competent for mainstream games, it may experience a decrease in frame rate and image quality during resource-intensive games such as Yuanshen. In contrast, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo harnesses the second-generation Snapdragon 7+ processor, akin to a streamlined variant of the Snapdragon 8+. This chip closely aligns with the Snapdragon 8+ in terms of architecture and technology, resulting in superior performance and power efficiency. Notably, the running score surpasses one million, making the Redmi Note 12 Turbo considerably excellent for gaming, outperforming the Dimensity 8200.

    Screen Display

The Redmi K60E touts a 6.67-inch Samsung E4 2K screen with a 3200X1440 resolution, offering 8-bit color and global DC dimming. In contrast, it’s an ordinary 1080P screen, yet it supports 12-bit color and 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. This juxtaposition yields a well-balanced domestic screen.

    Battery Life

The Redmi K60E integrates a robust 5500mAh battery, affording extended battery life. Conversely, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo features a 5000mAh battery, still delivering commendable performance. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo also distinguishes itself with a slimmer, lighter profile and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Equally, the K60E and Redmi Note 12 Turbo support 67W wired flash charging, a feature inherited from the Redmi lineage. While not groundbreaking, the charging speed is sufficiently satisfactory, allowing for a complete charge within an hour.

Furthermore, several discernible distinctions between the Redmi K60E and Redmi Note 12 Turbo emerge regarding their primary and secondary cameras, battery capacities, screens, and processors. Notably, the disparities in processor and screen quality are the most pronounced.

    Camera

The Redmi K60E and Redmi Note 12 Turbo incorporate an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens at the rear, establishing this as a standard configuration within the thousand yuan price range.

Although differing in lens specifications, the imaging prowess of both models remains relatively consistent. Vital distinctions in image quality aren’t necessary, and including OIS optical image stabilization improves overall stability.

    Verdict

In conclusion, the Redmi K60E and Redmi Note 12 Turbo exhibit several variations, but the pivotal difference centers on processor quality and screen performance. Given the paramount importance of the processor in mid-to-low-end devices, it’s prudent to prioritize the Redmi Note 12 Turbo.
